After the slow and agonising death of a previous version of ourselves, before the birth of the new, there comes a liminal period - the meaningful hushed pause between what was and what will be. Sit with it. There is nothing to do - no guilt is required. Guilt is an expectation that does not always need to be met or honoured. It is usually self-created - a weight we impose upon ourselves.
We cannot rush formation - this is where the most magical part unfolds. People hurry through everything, desperate to reach the next stage - to complete and to arrive. But the wise know to savour each phase, for each holds its own distinct beauty and wisdom. There is power in stillness, in the quiet - in the space where one learns to listen to one's subconscious, one's soul, and one's heart. There is a peaceful nature to this sacred anticipation, an ethereal richness in the unknown - as the soul elegantly gathers and summons the necessary fragments, drawing together the parts we need.
Who we are to become will call out from deep within when we learn to accept this invitation of stillness - to breathe in the air of the space between spaces - and to know that, in this very moment before our becoming, we are already enough.
