We spend most of our lives unlearning the methods of thinking and "factual knowledge" taught to us in schools. Because this information is taught to us at such a young age, many take it as gospel. If you think about it, we question myths more than we question our history. Yet, history is written by the victors. These are not unbiased accounts. For example, historical accounts taught in Vietnam will not be the same as those taught in the United States of America. Similarly, historical accounts taught in Japan will not be the same as those taught in Korea and China.
Have you also thought about how you think and why you think the way you think? The entire schooling system prepares us to be worker bees. It does not teach true innovation, independent thinking, or proper risk-assessment skills. And you think you are being set up for a fulfilling life? You have been set up to be a wage slave and have been covertly infected with a "lack mindset". You can tell because people perceive entrepreneurship as some great feat, when it is just finding a niche and working hard for yourself, rather than for an employer who will only value you for the outcomes you deliver.
People's perception of risk is completely skewed because they are taught to be risk-averse. Risk is healthy when you know how to assess risk.
Always question what you are presented with. Vigilance will keep your mind healthy.
