This is why if you like a book with any sort of practical application you understand, but can’t fully relate to, you should revisit it periodically. It’s sort of like wisdom from a parent. The first pass you think it’s ridiculous, or good but it doesn’t really *hit* you. Then those words “haunt” you later in that they *actually resonate* because they eerily become damn near perfect representations of your lived experience. They describe what you couldn’t truly appreciate before you even came to experience it, and so upon experiencing and making the connection you’re like “damn”.
