Symbolism holds more wisdom than words because language is linear, bound by the very constructs it operates within.
Wisdom is beyond pattern recognition - it is a felt sense - something you don't decode but intuitively recognise. It synthesises rather than analyses.
Wisdom comprehended through lived experience is too robust, too rich to be contained by words alone. Symbols are multidimensional, hold paradox, and unify opposites - allowing blurred lines to breathe with full lungs. They let wisdom dance barefoot.
Symbols emerge from the unconscious, not the intellect - speaking not in explanation, but in intuitive knowing so resonant it carries a near rounded mouthfeel. Like wisdom, they are something you attune to, something you surrender to - something you allow to permeate you - where meaning, mystery, and presence converge. They create the organic environment for wisdom to arise.
That is why it feels so rare, so special - and so sacred - when you no longer need to translate your soul in the presence of another native speaker.
I often find my sketches and paintings hold more wisdom than my words.
Paradox points the way to integration through the blind spots in perception. Good writing has fidelity to transcendence without dualistic collapse. My attempts to hide wisdom from ego’s truth subverting also serve so it can be accessed later.
